MEET HAYLEY
Hayley (Story) Bailey, M.A., B.A.
Registered Provisional Psychologist in Edmonton

Hello everyone! My name is Hayley. Thanks for being here. To me, being a psychotherapist is not so much my career, but more a life calling. I am a Provisional Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta.
Therapy for Teens, Adults & Couples
Connecting with others and aiding them in their journey of healing and self-discovery is my passion. I have supported children, teens, and adults working through experiences such as: trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, relationship issues, eating disorders, parenting problems, ADHD, career navigation, behaviour issues, codependency, and emotional disturbance.
I strive to give you my authentic self where we can build a trusting, collaborative, and mutually respectful relationship as I listen to your story. By doing this, I hope to build an environment in which you feel safe.
I utilize different therapeutic approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Gottman’s Method for Couples Therapy, and Solution Focused techniques. I am also completing specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an effective approach for recovering from traumatic experiences. The approach or combination of approaches I employ will be decided by your unique needs and personality. Throughout our time together, my intent is to help you navigate life’s challenges, guide you through self-discovery, help you reach your fullest potential and encourage you along the path of your choosing.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 7-year-old son. I love to read, stay active, watch scary movies, play video games, and visit my friends and family.
