Masters Level Counselling Intern Therapist
Hello! My name is Parishi and I am a Master’s Level Counselling Intern Therapist at Solace Psychology & Wellness. I am currently completing my Master of Counselling Degree from City University of Seattle (Edmonton Campus) and have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology Degree from the University of Alberta. For the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of working primarily with children and adults, helping them face various challenges. My passion to help individuals navigate the various life challenges and barriers to well-being has motivated me to further my education in Psychology.

Therapy for Children & Parents
I am passionate about providing evidence-based therapeutic support to children and parents. Common concerns that I help children with are emotional regulation, behavioural regulation, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety/worry, and school struggles. When working with younger clients I incorporate evidence-based interventions from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness mixed with elements of Play, Sand-Tray, and Art Therapy to create engaging and effective interventions.
Therapy for Adults
I am dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, valuing the unique perspectives, strengths, and values of each client. By creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, I aim to help individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered. I strive to understand and honor each person’s unique experiences, working together to uncover your personal strengths and promote positive change.
My primary goal in session is to create a compassionate, supportive, and empathetic environment where individuals can explore their experiences, overcome obstacles, and achieve personal growth. My approach to therapy is Person-Centered where I tailor my methods to fit each individual’s unique needs. My therapeutic practice is integrative, drawing from a range of modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness practices, and Compassion-Based Therapy.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to support you on your path to personal growth and self-discovery. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, stress, career difficulties, life transitions, or other challenges, I am here to offer compassionate and personalized guidance.
Thank you for considering me as a part of your therapeutic journey. I look forward to the possibility of working with you!
