FOUNDER & CLINICAL DIRECTOR
My practice is grounded in respect, integrity, and genuine care for my clients. I have been working in the mental health industry for over a decade with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, ADHD, life transitions, trauma-related symptoms and other mental health concerns. Supporting parents and guardians with effective parenting strategies is a passion of mine. I am also dedicated to working with couples and families as relational challenges can often become too difficult to resolve on our own. I strive to help people achieve overall life balance, in all 8 aspects of well-being. I enjoy working with professionals and businesses in the realm of preparing to return to work and acquiring work/life balance.
B.A., M.C., REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST
I have been providing mental health counselling to children, adolescents, and parents for the last 4 years. I absolutely love what I do and I believe that, with the right supports, all children and adolescents can participate meaningfully at home, school, and in the community.
I have worked with clients around issues like ADHD, anxiety, depression, oppositional or defiant behaviours, anger, emotional regulation, body image, self-esteem, and parent-child relationship issues. I approach therapy with curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. I believe in providing integrated and evidence-based therapy, drawing upon Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFT), Parent Management Training, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, I enjoy working closely with schools and providing strategies to support success in the classroom. I will be offering psycho-educational assessments in the near future.
B.A., M.C., REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST
I am a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, empathetic, genuine, and warm counsellor who believes in cultivating a strong working alliance with my clients. I have experience working with people of all ages (from children 6 years and older, to teens and adults), helping clients work through children’s issues (school, peer relationships, coping skills), depression, anxiety, stress, gender identity, sexuality, grief and loss, PTSD, addiction, self-esteem, and life transitions. I am also dedicated to helping people achieve overall life balance, including work/life balance for professionals. I worked at the Family Center and Pride Centre of Edmonton during my practicum, and I am an LGBTQ2S+ ally.
M.SC.OT, M.C., REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST
I am a Registered Psychologist and Occupational Therapist with 10 years of training in
the mental health field. I specialize in counselling adolescents and adults, and work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and interpersonal issues. I use a collaborative and client-centered approach. I like to provide a safe place for individuals to explore, observe and gain insight for their own healing and growth. In my eyes, the client is the expert; my role is to help the client identify their own unique strengths and resources, in a non-judgmental manner. Alongside counselling, I am also trained in administering psychoeducational assessments. Such assessments can identify learning challenges in students of all ages, from young children to adults.
B.A., M.A., REGISTERED PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST
I am a compassionate and growth-oriented counsellor dedicated to helping others on their personal life journeys. Having studied and worked in the mental health field for the majority of my adult life, I have gained a broad range of experience counselling teens and adults of all walks of life. I am passionate about helping my clients deal with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD and trauma, gender identity, sexual concerns, stress, body image, sleep issues, grief and loss, as well as life transitions. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I enjoy helping couples and families navigate their relationships and find greater depths of connection and belongingness. By creating a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space for my clients, we can generate hope and find solutions to the issues and concerns that surface during our sessions.
"It is amazing to see the tremendous growth in children and adults as they discover their full potential and begin to believe in themselves again."
