Child, Teen & Adult Counselling
Welcome! I’m Puneet and I am a Master's Level Counselling Intern Therapist at Solace Psychology & Wellness. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta and currently am completing my Master's of Counseling through City University in Canada. I am grateful to be a soundboard to client’s vulnerability and I believe it is important to express feelings and identify emotions. I strive for client success, navigating breakthroughs, and ultimately helping clients achieve their goals.

Therapy for Children, Teens & Adults
I am passionate about supporting clients through life challenges and particularly specialize in anxiety disorders, stress, depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD. I believe in creating a therapeutic plan that fits the client’s needs. I resonate with a humanistic approach to therapy, meeting the client where they are at in their journey to wellness. I often implement Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) or Narrative Therapy, among others. My priority with clients is to foster a therapeutic alliance, encourage personal growth and provide practical coping skills that truly work.
When working with younger clients, I like to make therapy engaging and meaningful, while creating a safe and collaborative space. I bring in elements of art, sandtray and play-based methods combined with specific strategies from CBT and narrative therapy.
A Bit About Me
My self-care favourites include spending time with my doodle & husky outside, visiting a local coffee shop or reading a romance novel. I love to travel with my husband and am always up for a new adventure or destination!
